Five BChinMed Year 4 students, Ng Wing Shui, Lam Kwo Sin, Huang Yuanyin, Ngai Chun Ho and Tse Yee Sin, received the Team Award of Poon Li Wai Hing Award for Student in Medical and Health Sciences Education 2025 from the LKS Faculty of Medicine, HKU in February 2026. The team used Anatomage, a 3D virtual anatomy technology to support the learning of acupuncture. Moving beyond the limitations of traditional 2D textbooks, students can now visualize the muscles, nerves, and blood vessels surrounding acupoints in full 3D, enhancing both the safety and precision of acupuncture therapy. This project was presented at The International Conference on Information Communication Technologies in Education (ICICTE 2026) in Greece in July 2026.
