The Chinese Medicine Summer Immersion Programme, organized by the School of Chinese Medicine at HKU, concluded successfully on August 1. Despite unfavorable weather on the first day, the students’ enthusiasm for learning remained strong. Form 4 and Form 5 students were introduced to the foundational principles of Chinese Medicine, including the four diagnostic methods: observation, listening, inquiry, and palpation. They also studied meridians and acupoints, while gaining hands-on experience with acupuncture, cupping, and auricular therapy. Furthermore, students made herbal tea bags and sachets, toured the Medical School Library, and visited the Chinese Medicine specimen lab. The four-day programme offered a diverse and enriching learning experience.
