Summer Immersion Programme 2023 Highlights

Over 50 S4 and S5 students participated in the 4-day Summer Immersion Programme from August 1 to 4, during which they glimpsed the foundation Chinese Medicine theories and common diagnostic means such as tongue inspection. Participants were also engaged in hands-on DIY workshops such as preparing Chinese herbal teabags, sachets, and comfrey balm. In addition, demonstrations of acupuncture, cupping, and auricular therapy were also conducted to enhance their understanding in therapeutic means of Chinese Medicine. Current Bchinmed student ambassadors toured the participants around the Faculty’s facilities such as the Anatomy lab and Medical library. Participants found the programme a fruitful and rewarding learning experience!
