Nearly 100 children from kindergarten to grade 4 and their parents visited the School of Chinese Medicine (HKUSCM) at the HKUMed Academic Building on July 16, 2023. Co-organized by HKUSCM and Community Partner Foundation (CPF), with seven sessions, the programme aimed at enhancing children's understanding and interest in Chinese Medicine. Children who had satisfied the attendance requirement were presented a participation certificate on the day by Prof. Feng Yibin, Director of HKUSCM, and Ms Beatrice Mok, founder of CPF. Under the supervision of teacher and guidance of student helpers, participants visited the Chinese Medicine Specimen Laboratory and Clinical Skills Training Center. During the visit, children proactively asked questions and tried on different Chinese Medical equipments under teacher’s instruction, including pulse simulation machine and massage machine.
