A group of Form 5 secondary school students from S.K.H. Lam Woo Memorial Secondary School visited the School of Chinese Medicine, HKU for an enlightening experience in Chinese medicine on 24 April 2023.

The visit commenced with an information talk, during which students understood the fundamental principles of TCM healing methods and the admission criteria for the Bachelor of Chinese Medicine (BChinMed) program. In addition to the talk HKUSCM teacher demonstrated acupuncture and cupping to show their potential in treating various health conditions, which impressed the students a lot The students also visited the Specimen Lab, where they learned about the features of different herbs. The students found the visit engaging and valuable and had aroused their interest in the study of Chinese medicine.
