HKUMed Centre of Integrative Medicine

The HKUMed Center of Integrative Medicine (CIM) promotes collaboration between traditional Chinese medicine and multidisciplinary teams within the modern medical system, including western medicine, pharmacy, nursing, public health, biomedical sciences, and other related disciplines.

In order to facilitate collaborations between the School of Chinese Medicine and other academic and medical entities, we are dedicated to establishing a collaborative network of academic staff with diverse research expertise. This network aims to achieve the following objectives:

• Development of integrative treatment strategies in partnership with the School of Clinical Medicine, School of Public Health, School of Nursing and Clinical Trials Centre.
• Exploration of new drug discovery opportunities in collaboration with the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy.
• Conducting Basic Science in integrative Medicine research initiatives alongside the School of Biomedical Sciences.
• Advancement of natural product development and commercialization through collaboration with the HKU Technology Transfer Office.
