Abstract
Scientific connotations of Qi and Blood in Chinese Medicine Theory

Qi and Blood theory is one of the core theories of traditional Chinese medicine. Functions of Qi to promote blood circulation and constrain blood are the content of Qi and Blood theory. The speaker partially elucidats the scientific connotation of the theory of Qi and Blood by proving the following mechanisms: heart Qi promotes blood circulation, heart Qi deficiency leads to stasis, and QiShenYiQi pills tonify Qi to promote blood circulation; Qi of blood-vessel constrains blood, Qi of blood-vessel deficiency leads to leakage, and QiShen YiQi pills tonify Qi to prevent leakage.
