Dr Lin Xiang



Dr Xiang LIN is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Chinese Medicine of the University of Hong Kong. During his studies of Bachelor’s and the PhD degrees, he had training in the fields of Botanical Chemistry, Biology, Chinese Medicines and Pharmacology. Afterwards, Dr Lin had nearly 7 years of postdoc training in the field of immunology in the Department of Pathology, the University of Hong Kong. Dr Lin’s research has focused on the pathogenesis and therapeutics of primary Sjogrens’s syndrome (pSS), a common autoimmune disease. Dr Lin has published over 25 papers in the reputed journals in the past decade. As junior PI, Dr Lin has served as editorial board members in several journals and has been appointed as Affiliated Investigator in the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, HKU, as well as Hon Secretaries in the Hong Kong Society of Flow Cytometry and Hong Kong Society of Immunology.
