Biography

Yvonne Lau has been the President of Mayway Herbs since 1997, working in the family Chinese herb business since childhood. She has had the good fortune and honor to work with many people both in China and the US who are passionate about Chinese Medicine and herb quality.

Yvonne also spends much of her time on causes that promote and protect Chinese medicine. She has been active as the Vice President of the Chinese Herb Trade Association of America since 1998, a trade group founded in 1984 representing over 300 Chinese herb importers, distributors, and retailers, and chairs its Regulatory Compliance Committee. She is also a founding member of the Coalition for the Protection of Wildlife in TCM and serves as a volunteer and board member of Charlotte Maxwell Clinic, a non-profit integrative medicine clinic serving low-income women with cancer in the San Francisco Bay Area.
