A group of Form 4-5 secondary school students from Pentecostal Lam Hon Kwong School visited the School of Chinese Medicine, HKU on 4 March 2024 for an enlightening experience in Chinese Medicine. The visit commenced with an informative seminar during which students acquired the fundamental principles of TCM healing means, and the admission criteria for the Bachelor of Chinese Medicine (BChinMed) programme. Acupuncture and moxibustion demonstrations were also conducted as the means of treatment, raising the students’ interest in Chinese medicine therapeutic treatment. After that, the students also visited the Specimen Lab where they learned about the features of different herbs. The students found that their understanding in Chinese Medicine has been enhanced, as well as the interest in learning the related discipline.
