On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I extend my warmest welcome to all the participants. We are delighted to resume this prestigious event after a challenging 3-year period due to the pandemic. This Symposium holds special significance as it commemorates the 25th anniversary of the School of Chinese Medicine, HKU, and we are thrilled to have this impactful international Symposium as the finale of our 25th Anniversary celebration.
With the theme of "Globalization of Chinese Medicine and Integrative Medicine" this Symposium serves as a platform for academics, physicians, Chinese medicine practitioners, researchers, and students to come together. It aims to facilitate collaboration, strengthen knowledge exchange, and cultivate new talent in Integrative Medicine and Chinese Medicine.
Furthermore, this event presents a valuable opportunity to bring together experts and scholars from Mainland China, the USA, Australia, Germany, Singapore, Macau, and Hong Kong. Esteemed scholars will deliver presentations on important directions, key issues, and advanced research progress in Integrative Medicine and Chinese Medicine. Additionally, an International Chinese Medicine Education Forum will facilitate fruitful discussions and exchange of ideas. The session on Research Achievement and Translational Research Strategy will showcase our research accomplishments and strategies for industrialization and commercialization.
We believe that this Symposium will inspire groundbreaking collaborations, leading to innovative approaches in healthcare. Lastly, I express our deepest gratitude for your participation in the Pong Ding Yuen International Symposium on Chinese Medicine.
